Properly known as 'Old Meggison Falls', surprisingly this delightful beauty spot has only recently made it onto the local radar, so you can still expect to find it a relatively quiet setting. Leave your car in Kildale at the railway station, or at the top of the steep bank where the Cleveland Way enters Coate Moor Woods from the east. Better still, make a good walk of it, either by using the railway from Great Ayton to Kildale, or walking there and back from the village itself.
